489 DECLARATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND PERSONAL OR PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS AND DECLARATIONS OF WHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS (IF ANY) - Cllr O'Sullivan declared a personal interest as Lead Governor at Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

No whip was declared.

490 PUBLIC REQUESTS TO SPEAK - There were no requests received.

491 EAST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE SERVICE - UPDATE - The Chairman welcomed Mike Naylor, Director of Finance, and Sue Cousland, General Manager, to the meeting. The Chairman explained that Mike and Sue had been invited to provide a general update to members about the performance of East Midlands Ambulance Trust, and its future direction. Mike and Sue gave a presentation, covering issues such as urgent care transport, collaboration with other 'blue light' services, first responders, stroke care, and mental health support. Members asked a number of relevant questions throughout the presentation, with Mike and Sue providing detailed answers.

Resolved - (a) That Mike Naylor and Sue Cousland be thanked for their attendance and for providing answers to members' questions, and (b) that the situation be noted.
