Decision:

To approve the supporting Evidence Base documents for the emerging North Lincolnshire Local Plan.

Reasons for the decision:

North Lincolnshire Council is currently preparing a new Local Plan for the area (North Lincolnshire Local Plan). In order to successfully adopt the new Local Plan a full evidence base is required to justify its content.

NPPF states at para 31 that ‘The preparation and review of all policies should be underpinned by relevant and up-to-date evidence. This should be adequate and proportionate, focused tightly on supporting and justifying the policies concerned, and take into account relevant market signals.

To support the Publication Draft of the Local Plan the following documents have been produced or previous versions updated which need to be published alongside the Local Plan for public consultation. These documents are: -

• Local Plan Sequential and Exceptions Test
• Strategic Flood Risk Assessment
• North Lincolnshire Housing and Economic Needs Assessment
• Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment
• Plan wide Viability
• Infrastructure Delivery Plan
• Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment
• Hot Food Takeaway Evidence Report
• Landscape Character Assessment
• Review of the Isle of Axholme Historic Landscape Character Assessment
• Heritage and Archaeology Impact Assessment
• Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Report
• Lincolnshire Lakes Report
• Scunthorpe Town Centre Masterplan
