Community Grant Applications

Minutes:

1        APPROVAL OF COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATIONS – The Director: Governance and Partnerships submitted a report considering applications for financial support against the eligibility criteria of the scheme and available funds.

 

          The Community Grant Fund supported –

•         Grants to Individuals

•         Community Revenue Grant Programme

•         Community Capital Grant Programme

 

Additional capital budgets had also been approved for –

 

•         Enhanced and Prosperous Community Programme

 

The Cabinet Member for Safer, Stronger Communities – Ashby, Bottesford & Scunthorpe (‘Urban’) was consulted on the Director’s report.

         

Resolved – (a) That the following amounts of Community Grant support be approved:

Andrew Lakeland (to represent GB in the Standard Distance Duathlon Age Group Team at European Duathlon Championships)

Gemma Scott (to represent GB in the Aquabike Age Group Team at World Championships)

(b) that, with immediate effect, the criteria for individual applicants be amended as follows:

•         Each individual to be awarded a maximum grant of £500

•         Once three applications had been made by an individual and the applicant had received a total of £1500 in funding (over any period), further applications should be declined.
