Discussion and questions with Ann-Marie Brierley, Interim Director of Children and Community Resilience and Paul Cowling, Service Lead, Resources, Children and Community Resilience

Minutes:

The Chairman welcomed the council’s Director of Children and Community Resilience, Service Lead – Resources and Youth Justice Partnership Manager, namely Ann-Marie Brierley, Paul Cowling and Emma Young respectively to the meeting. 

 

In accordance with the council’s Constitution, the amended Youth Justice Plan was to be considered by the relevant Scrutiny Panel prior to its consideration by Council.

 

The Director, Service Lead – Resources and Youth Justice Partnership Manager delivered a presentation to the Panel on the Youth Justice Plan, with particular emphasis on the context for the Plan, its background, vision and values, progress of the North Lincolnshire Youth Justice Partnership, the key performance challenges, the Governance and Leadership of the Partnership and its priorities for 2021-2023.

 

Following the comprehensive presentation, the Chairman facilitated a discussion between the Panel Members and the councils Director of Children and Community Resilience, Service Lead – Resources and Youth Justice Partnership Manager.

 

Recommended to Council – That the Youth Justice Plan be formally adopted and implemented with immediate effect.
