Additional documents:

The current RE syllabus does not reflect the new Ofsted framework therefore other options were discussed in order to be in place for September 2020

The proposed RE Syllabus options were; (i) Hull and East Riding RE Syllabus – This was currently in the early stages of development, in order to meet the Ofsted requirements. If this syllabus was adopted joint working with East Riding would need to be undertaken. (ii) Lincolnshire Syllabus - The syllabus contains compulsory units to be taught at KS1, KS2 and KS3. Schemes of work are available to schools at an additional cost.  The cost to North Lincolnshire Council of adopting the Lincolnshire agreed syllabus had been pitched at £83 per school by Lincolnshire County Council. The syllabus meets Ofsted requirements.

It was recommended – To circulate the proposed Lincolnshire Syllabus to group members for consultation and agreement.
