Minutes:

The Strategic Officer for SACRE, advised members that previously the agreed RE syllabus taught in North Lincolnshire, had been published in April 2016.

The 2016 Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education had been the result of a collaborative partnership between the SACREs of four local authorities. The Local Agreed Syllabus was hosted by East Riding, as an electronic document. This agreed syllabus has now ended.

After consultation with schools and academies the new RE Syllabus will be the Lincolnshire Locally Agreed Syllabus. The syllabus will be adapted September 2021. The cost of which has been covered by North Lincolnshire SCARE.

If schools wish to purchase the suggested teaching and learning materials, written by Gillian Georgiou, to support teachers in planning these are available. The cost is £70 for a single KS (1,2 or 3) or £100 for KS1 7KS2. Launch of the Lincolnshire Locally Agreed Syllabus to take place July 2020.
