The corresponding report of the following item (Minute 1 refers) contains exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

1        NEW ALL AGE CARE AT HOME FRAMEWORK – The Director: Adults and Health and the Director: Children and Families submitted a joint report seeking approval to tender for an All Age provision of Care at Home services for North Lincolnshire.

The current Care at Home framework for adult regulated health and care services was due to expire on 31 May 2025.

The launch of the new Procurement Regulations had been delayed to 24 February 2025. This was to allow providers nationally more time to prepare for the changes as well as council procurement teams.

To allow for the new Procurement Regulations to be implemented, a slightly revised timeline has been drafted, with the new launch date of March 2025.

Additional engagement sessions with local providers had been undertaken to present the finalised geographical areas for geographical zoned care. This was positively received by providers.

Provider procurement training would be arranged for February 2025. This would help providers understand the process and support them through it, recognising it had been several years since local providers had entered a tender process.

Resolved – That Option 1, as set out in the report at paragraph 3.1 of the report, to tender for an All Age Care at Home Framework, be approved.
