Discussion and questions with Ann-Marie Matson, the council’s Director: Children and Families, Paul Cowling, the council’s Assistant Director: Children’s Standards and Regulation and Emma Young, the council’s Youth Justice Partnership Manager.

Minutes:

The Chairman welcomed Paul Cowling, the council’s Assistant Director: Children’s Standards and Regulation and Emma Young, the council’s Youth Justice Partnership Manager to the meeting.

 

In accordance with the council’s Constitution, the amended North Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2022-24 was to be considered by the relevant Scrutiny Panel prior to its consideration by Council.

 

The Assistant Director and Youth Justice Partnership Manager delivered a presentation to the Panel on the context of the Plan, the background to the Plan and why it was being considered again by the Panel, the Partnership vision and values, its key performance and governance and leadership.

 

Following the comprehensive presentation, the Chairman facilitated a discussion between the Panel Members and the council’s Assistant Director: Children’s Standards and Regulation and Youth Justice Partnership Manager.

 

The meeting not being quorate agreed to Recommend – (a) That the North Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2022-25 be formally adopted and implemented, and (b) that the council’s Assistant Director: Children’s Standards and Youth Justice Partnership Manager be thanked for their attendance, verbal presentation and for answering members’ questions.
