Community Grant Applications - Sustainable Planting Scheme 2024 Minutes: 19 COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATIONS – SUSTAINABLE PLANTING SCHEME 2024 – The Director: Outcomes submitted a report considering applications for financial support against the eligibility criteria of the scheme and available funds.
The Adults, Health, Families and Communities Cabinet Member resolved in December 2023 (minute 13 refers) to allocate funding from the Community Grant Fund to enable community groups and Town and Parish Councils to participate in a seasonal ‘North Lincolnshire in Bloom’ scheme.
The scheme engaged communities in the creation of attractive year-round floral displays that visually enhanced the area for residents and visitors. In doing so the scheme contributed to the council’s priority of Enabling Resilient and Flourishing Communities by encouraging volunteering and a sense of community pride, supporting the ambition of North Lincolnshire being the Best Place for residents.
Resolved – That the following amounts of Community Grant support be approved:
